last night's game was such a humiliation, we lost 3 goals to Arsenal...sigh...i'm an utter red now becuz though before the game i thought i'd be equally happy if Arsenal'd win but it turned out i was really upset at the result...probably becuz Crouchy's goal was disallowed...

today i was efficient i wrote that stupid writing class assignment in half an hour and watched 2 movies and also did some reading on art...the first movie i watched was [Wild Orchids], it was a total bore, very few conversations, very blurred storyline, and i wasn't impressed by Rio de Janeiro either...

but the second one i watched was a mood-lifter, [You, Me and Dupree], it's funny and witty and inspiring, lol let's just say there's never a dull moment in an Owen Wilson movie, he's like energetic all the time!! and Kate is just as beautiful as she's ever been! so the cast is good (+ the handsome Matt Dillon), i definitely recommend this one!!

the past week has been a whirlwind, exams, the painful-as-usual writing class, the British Culture presentation on crime causes in Britain (i did one on a very bizarre cause: nutrient deficiency, good thing is there was no time left for questioning lol) and the Phonetics class speech...

yesterday when i presented my informative speech on Haute Couture i was really nervous when i walked up the stage, but when the french word came out of my mouth everybody looked puzzled and some started laughing a lil bit so i explained and magically the nervousness disappeared, just like that, in no time...i think i did pretty well, considering that ppl were actually listening and giving responses...

and afterwards, it was tennis time with Yan and Ian and a frd of his...basically my forehand sucks, not that my backhand is any good but my forehand really is worse than my backhand...i definitely need a coach...but i'm not suer if i could really carry on doing that, life is complicated enough i hardly have time for what i should've done and be doing...but i'm dead serious about going to a sewing class...

i decided the way to make my being less dismal when i'm obviously not in the right position where i want myself to be is to indulge my thoughts in art...if u simplify ur whole life, it's down to what you love and sustaining urself for the sake of what u love...at least its true for me, don't know if it works for the rest of u...a successful career doesn't seem as important now, but no doubt it's still desired...

p.s. this album has fascinated me over years and i already marvled over its beyond-words greatness years ago if those of u who knew about it can still recall...i guess i never relate as much to anything else as i relate to every word every single rhthmic pattern every note to all its songs...besides, the Merseyside accent is lovely!

p.p.s this is my newly acquired dog, ie my 2nd dog, lol and i'll be adopting another puppy in January

haven't updated in a while, i've gotten so lazy and lately i haven't been very productive...

last Friday went karaoke @ Neway with Cathy, Sarah and Yoyo, it was fun, Sarah was most excited and Cathy sang almost every song! she knows every song!!!

and this Friday, ie today, i skipped my British culture class and slept in til 12...lol, this week is so drowsy...

next week is mid-term, how time flies, i'm always insensitive to time...and for this class ( i don't know what it's called) i have to read 40+ pages of notes given by the teacher and this is just stupid...i'd rather memorize those 4 passages if that's what they want...

all teachers teaching this semester have a very uncanny ability for trying to make things  clear and failing completely...so most of the time we r just like "we'll write her an email about that later..."

last week's EPL my Reds beat Aston Villa fair and square @ Anfield, it was such a thrill, and later at mid-week they beat Bordeaux again with a 3-0!! they r really back in the game!! let's see what happens tomorrow when they take on Reading!!!

LIE WITH ME is the best erotica movie i've watched so far!!! well i don't know if counts as erotica, and if ur hoping to see some hardcore fucking scenes then i guess this is not what you're looking for (although u do see some naked sex organs)...i love the music i love the street scenes (it was set in Ontario Canada,  urban and feeling Europe at the same time) and i love the fashion-ness Lauren Lee Smith brought into the movie...to wrap it all up: it's sexy without feeling porn!!! for some reason running in the park is suddenly a beautiful scene!!

p.s. Turkish ppl keep bumping into me online!! i don't know why...but this is getting a little creepy...anyways, they r nice ppl...it's like all of a sudden Turkey is everywhere, i now know Turkish geogrpahy perfectly well, this would've been so unbelievable given that my geography sucks...

Yoyo thinks Rio Ferdinand was way better looking with the long hair, i'll say he looks great with whatever hair style, he's just so darn cool!!
